Diablo Immortal
Current & Upcoming Seasons
We are waiting on the next season announcement. This space fills in once a start date is confirmed against the studio's own source — it is empty because we do not fill unverified schedules with estimates. The past-season record below shows this game's measured cadence in the meantime.

About
Start with the thing players arriving from Diablo III or IV get wrong most often: a Diablo Immortal season does not reset your character. Paragon levels, gear, legendary gems, Resonance, Helliquary rank, and your currencies all carry over when a new season opens. What resets is your Battle Points and the 40-tier reward track — nothing else. A season here is closer to swapping out a reward track than to the clean-slate ladder restart the mainline Diablo games trained you to expect. Same brand, near-opposite meaning of the word "season."
Season Structure
The word "season" is badly overloaded in this game. Close to ten separate cycles run on their own clocks — the wiki maintains a disambiguation page for exactly this reason. The battle pass runs four weeks; the Event Center also runs four weeks but is deliberately kept out of phase with it; the Tower of Victory runs eight; Challenge Rifts, the Helliquary Gauntlet, and Battlegrounds each run ten (with Battlegrounds out of phase with the other two); the Vanguard and the Path of Prodigy run quarterly. The only cycle tracked as a canonical entry on this site is the numbered battle pass season, because that is the one Blizzard publishes a dated notice for. The Helliquary in particular is not a seasonal anchor — its Gauntlet leaderboard is a separate ten-week ladder, so lining its resets up against battle pass numbers will mislead you.
How to Check Schedules
Worth knowing: the rollover happens at 3 a.m. on local server time, which means players in the Americas, Europe, and Asia cross into a new season at genuinely different absolute moments. This is a real behavioral difference from Diablo IV, where a season opens worldwide at one instant. Times on this site follow the Americas server clock (America/Los_Angeles), so if you play on a European or Asian server, expect the listed time to be offset from when the season actually flips for you.
Season History
The second defining trait is how extreme the cadence is. From Season 2 (2022-07-07) through Season 39 (2025-05-08), the gap was literally 28 days, every time. We verified that arithmetically against three independent primary announcements — Seasons 22, 30, and 49 — and all three anchors landed exactly on the predicted date. The 51 seasons we carry yield 50 intervals; the median is 28 days, and 48 of those 50 fall between 26 and 30 days. That four-week figure is roughly a third of the 91-day (13.0-week) median across all 217 intervals we track, making this comfortably the shortest cycle in our catalog — even Diablo IV, previously the short end at 84 days, is far behind. The mean comes out at 29.3 days and the longest interval at 84, but that 84 is not a pause by Blizzard: Seasons 50 and 51 sit between those two dates and we have not been able to confirm their start dates against a primary source, so they are held back from the site. Three 28-day cycles collapse into one measured gap (84 = 28 × 3). We did not fail to find them — they failed our verification bar, and they stay out until that changes. One gap worth stating plainly: as of July 2026, 12 of those 51 seasons rest on wiki sourcing or arithmetic interpolation between verified anchors rather than a Blizzard article URL. Those get replaced as official notices surface.
Who It's For
A good fit if you want short, self-contained four-week stretches rather than a months-long grind, or if you move between phone and PC on one account. Above all, it suits players who simply do not want to rebuild a character from scratch — which is precisely the opposite of why you would pick Diablo III or IV.
